The construction of this building is well underway and making steady progress toward a finish line of full occupancy in Fall of 2008. Based on the research focus and theme areas, we have identified tenants for ICTAS I and have worked together with the representatives from the Architecture and Engineering Firm (Burthill) and Virginia Tech Capital Design and Construction to design the layout and up fit of the laboratory spaces. ICTAS I will be home to the School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences (SBES) laboratories and the ICTAS administrative headquarters.
